     Robert Levelle McDaniel was born on 22 October 1909 at Eros, Jackson Parish, Louisiana, the 1920 Census lists his birthplace as Arkansas.4 He was the son of James Robert McDaniel and Mary E. Bishop.5 He and Ruby Lee Humphreys obtained a marriage license on 13 September 1929 at DeQueen, Sevier County, Arkansas.6 He married Ruby Lee Humphreys, daughter of Esca Humphreys and Laura Herd, on 15 September 1929 at Paris, Lamar County, Texas; probably married in DeQueen, Sevier County, Arkansas where license was obtained.1 He died on 10 January 1981 at Harrison, Boone County, Arkansas, at age 71.4,5

Robert McDaniel dies at Harrison

Robert L. McDaniel, 71, of Gassville, died Saturday at Boone County Hospital at Harrison. A resident here since August of 1979, he was formerly of Hashwauk, Minn. He was a retired Miner with Hanna Mining Company at Hibbing, Minn.
Born Oct. 22, 1909 at Eross, La., he was the sone of the late Mary Bishop McDaniel and James Robert McDaniel. He was also preceded in death by one daughter and three brothers.
He and the former Ruby Humphrey were married Sept. 14, 1929 at Paris, Tex. Mrs. McDaniel resides at Gassville.
Other survivors include six sons. Doyle McDaniel and Earl McDaniel, both of Mountain Home, Eugene McDaniel and James McDaniel, both of Parson, Kan., Lee McDaniel of Nashwauk and Paul McDaniel of Hibbing; two daughters, Laura Mayhaw of Omaha, Tex., and Ruby Rouden of Gassville; one brother, Frank McDaniel of Texarkana, Tex; two sisters, Elease Hobbs of Linden, Tex. and May Jo Hale of Colorado Springs, Colo; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Kirby-Blevins-LaFevers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Cook officiating. Interment took place at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery.5
