SWEETWATER -- Bettye Jane Shuler, 72, died Tuesday, July 23, 1996, at Lubbock Methodist Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lamar Street Baptist Church. Burial will be at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home.

She was born in Rosco, and was a member of Lamar Street Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Ernest Shuler of Sweetwater; sons, Gene Shuler of Lubbock and Harvey Shuler of Midland; daughter, Sandy Shuler of Sweetwater; brothers, Lee Walton of Odessa, H.L. Walton and Wayne Walton, both of Abilene, and Jimmy Walton of Sweetwater; sisters, Ada Sanders of Sweetwater and Louise Wilson of Atlanta, Ga; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
