     Lois Elizabeth Jordan was born on 30 January 1925 at Larimore, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.² She was the daughter of Carlos Joseph Jordan and Emma Josephine Kuntz. She married Raymond Burke in February 1946 at Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.² She married Edward Galegher before 1986.² She and Edward Galegher lived in 1987 at Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.³ She died on 1 March 2008 at Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, at age 83.² Lois E. Galegher, 83, of Grand Forks, ND passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks.

Lois Elizabeth Jordan was born the daughter of Carlos and Emma (Kuntz) Jordan on January 30, 1925 in Larimore, ND where she was raised and graduated from high school. In February of 1946 she married Raymond Burke in Grand Forks, ND. She worked for in housekeeping for St. Michael’s Hospital then United Hospital until her retirement in 1990. Raymond preceded her in death in 1966.

She is survived by her sons, Gerald Burke, Minneapolis, MN, Ronald (Charlotte) Burke, Lincoln, NE, Pat Burke, Fargo, ND, Mike Burke, Seattle, WA, Paul (Bonnie) Burke, East Grand Forks, MN and Steve Burke, Grand Forks, ND; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Galegher; her parents and a brother, Calvin.

Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in University Lutheran Church, Grand Forks, ND.

Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service in Gregory J. Norman – Norman Funeral Home, 2950 S. Washington St., Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will continue for one hour before services at the church on Wednesday.

Burial: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND, in the spring.⁴ She was buried after April 2008 at Grand Forks, Grand Forks County, North Dakota.⁴

     Loretta Marie Jordan is the daughter of David Archie Jordan and Mavis Ione Burud.¹ She married Dave Engle in April 1998 at USA.¹

     Lucinia Jordan also went by the name of Siana. She was born in 1799 at Essex County, New York. She was the daughter of Benjamin Jordan and Mary Clothier.

     Lycenus Jordan was born in 1813 at Essex County, New York. He was the son of Benjamin Jordan and Mary Clothier.

     Marlene Jordan is the daughter of Raymond Fred Jordan and Pauline Vogel.¹

     Martin Ernest Jordan is the son of Dr. Ernest Edson Jordan and Dorothy Lou Rule.¹

     Mary Jordan was born circa 1833 at Essex County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Eleazer Jordan and Hannah Unknown. She appeared on the census of 26 July 1850 in the household of Eleazer Jordan and Fanny Unknown at Moriah, Essex County, New York.² She appeared on the census of 11 June 1855 in the household of John H. Jordan at Moriah, Essex County, New York.³ She died before 1906.⁴

     Mathew Jordan is the son of Harvey Ernest Jordan and Ursula Mae Hermanson.

     Mera Corrine Jordan is the daughter of Dr. Ernest Edson Jordan and Dorothy Lou Rule.¹ She married Perry Wayne Disponett, son of Ada Robinson, on 29 September 1983 at Fayette County, Kentucky.³ She and Perry Wayne Disponett were divorced in January 2011 at USA.⁴ She married Rob Claybrook after 2012.⁵

     Michael Jordan is the son of Daniel R. Jordan and Julie E. Unknown.¹
