     Mary Ellison was born on 7 November 1798 at Virginia.3,2 She married William Malachai Allison on 8 January 1818 at USA.3,2 She was "was a member of the Predestinarian Baptist Church 47 years."2 She died on 29 October 1871 at age 72.2 She was buried after 29 October 1871 at Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.2

Alice Chalifoux Ellsworth1,2

     Alice Chalifoux Ellsworth was born on 21 April 1914 at South Bend, Saint Joseph County, Indiana.3,2 She was the daughter of John Chess Ellsworth and Alice Chalifoux.2 She married Daniel A. Davis, son of Frank Hamilton Davis, on 16 December 1933 at New York, New York County, New York.4 She married John Pierrepont Sturges, son of Rush Sturges and Elizabeth Hazard, circa 1946 at USA.1 She died on 27 September 2008 at Rhode Island at age 94.3

Alice Ellsworth Sturges

STURGES, ALICE ELLSWORTH, died on September 27th 2008 at 94. She was born in Boston and a graduate of Miss Porters School in Farmington, CT.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Pierrepont Sturges and is survived by her 4 sons: Daniel Abner Davis of Saunderstown, R.I., Michael Hamilton Davis of Stonington, CT., John Pierrepont Sturges of Seattle, WA and Peter Hazard Sturges of Folks of Salmon, CA. as well as eight grandchildren: Jamie Davis, Christopher Davis, Ashley Davis O'Connor, Pamela Davis Owens, Marine Sturges, Maeve Sturges, Rush Sturges and Allison Sturges and five great grand children. She is also survived by her beloved nieces, Phyllis Collins and Joan de Mouchy.

She was a long time resident of Providence and Block Island. She was active in many causes which included Grace Church, Meals on Wheels and the Rhode Island School of Design. A party she hosted for the school was featured in Life Magazine.

The burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 169 George Street, Providence, R.I. 02860.

     Clarence Elms was born on 6 September 1913 at Glen Falls, Warren County, New York.1,2 He was the son of Charles Elms and Anna Honeywell.1 He married Alison Lupien circa 1943 at USA.2 He died on 1 April 1995 at Glen Falls, Warren County, New York, at age 81.2

Clarence H. Elms

Clarence H.Elms, 81, of Ridge Road in Queesbury, died Saturday (April 1, 1995) at Glen Falls Hospital following a long illness.
Born on Sept. 6. 1913, in Glen Falls, he was the son of Charles and Anna (Honeywell) Elms.
Mr. Elms was a well known businessman for over 50 years. He owned and operated Clarence Elms General Contruction Co. from 1927 to 1991.
Mr. Elms was also a long time member of the Bay Ridge Volunteer Fire Co.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Alison "Bernice" (Lupien) Elms; one daughter, Martha (Elms) Dougher of Queensbury; one grandaughter; one grandson; and several cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pine View Cemetery in Queensbury, with Rev. William Barney, pastor of the Christ United Methodist in Glen Falls, officiating.
Friends may call from 7 tp 9 p.m. today at Regan and Denny Funeral Home Inc., Quaker Road, Queensbury.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Bay Ridge Fire Co., 2 Glen Lake Road, Lake George, N.Y. 12845.2
