     Roy Ham was born in November 1892 at Freestone County, Texas.^2,3 He was the son of Taylor McDondle Ham and Mary Francis Bray.¹ He was a witness surrendered her children to the Childrens Home Society with Mary Francis Norton on 11 July 1905 at Guthrie, Logan County, Oklahoma Territory.⁴ He was adopted in August 1905 at Guthrie, Logan County, Oklahoma Territory.⁴ He died on 18 October 1918 at Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, at age 25.^5,6

     Taylor McDondle Ham was born on 30 August 1866 at Alabama.^2,3,4 He was the son of Henry Russell Ham and Alcy Emmaline Reese. He married M. Delilah Claridge on 2 October 1887 at Freestone County, Texas.⁵ He married Mary Francis Bray on 15 January 1891 at Freestone County, Texas.^6,5 He was serving prison time on a railroad chain gang as of the U.S. Census in July 1900 at Hunt County, Texas.³ He died on 31 December 1956 at Teague, Freestone County, Texas, at age 90.^4,1
